    <dcterms:description><![CDATA[John Eakin asked the king to give a speech in English, and he replied that he could do so if Eakin would give a  speech in the Siamese langugae. Eakin was just beginning his time in Siam, but he managed to have a speech written in perfect Siamese. At the banquet he read the speech upon the insistance of the king. The king and all the people were amazed. Then the king said a few words in English, to which Eakin replied &quot;Mai paw&quot; (not enough!), a phrase he wasn&#039;t supposed to say in front of the King. ]]></dcterms:description>
